 Fall Ball

Havenwood Girls Softball Fall Ball is an eight-week instructional season built for players of every skill level. Played primarily on Sundays from early September through early November, it's a relaxed, developmental program focused on building fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the game — not standings or trophies. We play as part of the NCCGSL Fall Ball league.

In a safe, low-pressure environment under adult supervision, coaches rotate players through new positions, work on batting and fielding, and give new pitchers a chance to grow. If the game needs a little help moving along, coaches may even borrow a player from the other team to keep everyone in the action.

What to Expect

• Divisions: 6U through 14U/19U, depending on age
• Practices: Begin mid-to-late August
• Games: Sundays, early September through early November, at Anne Arundel County fields
• Format: No official standings, trophies, or forfeits
• Focus: Skill-building, position rotation, and game fundamentals
